4th LOCAL ANNUAL CAREER EXPO

Middelburg Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Steve Tshwete Local Municipality are hosting the fourth Local Annual Career Expo Middelburg.

It has become clear that the local industry requirements, with specific reference to technical skills are not being met.  The purpose of the career day is to expose the local youth to career opportunities in the Steve Tshwete Municipal area. The focus will be on Grade 9 (making subject choices) and Grade 11 and 12’s (ready to leave school).

Different corporate organizations will exhibit the career opportunities in their business; discuss the opportunities of the different industries and how to get educated through the acceptable channels. A local career goodie bag will be given to the each participating school to take home. Corporate Companies are welcome to also add their information to the bag.

Businesses are invited to participate by the following; Exhibition stands for sale – R3000.00 (this investment will contribute to the sustainability of an annual event). Stand size 3m x 3m.. we have bigger stands available  - due to popular demand please book now do not wait for next year!!!

What business receives for sponsorship: exhibition stand; opportunity to promote industry; opportunity to communicate skill shortage in specific business; marketing and awareness; opportunity to explain bursary applications.
